Hey everybody - I’m emailing for the first time - wow these computers
are powerful! Hope your having an awesome - spring! I know it’s been wet
outside, but the sun is gonna start shining soon! I’m not going sugar
coat it - life's been tough for me.... My name is Hank - I’m about
3-4yrs old I’m an English Pointer - with a good amount of energy - and a
great attitude! I’m good in my kennel - so far....but love being
outside. I’m not a barker....nor am I a biter - I haven't been around
cats, so I’m not sure how we would get along? I’ve got all my
vaccinations for this year / checked out by Vet in Salina and I have
been permanently fixed. my coat is mostly white with a little orange
markings around my head. I’ve got super eyes and a nose that won't quit.
Currently looking for some new cool people or a family to hang out
with/live more permanently. I'm new to the area - currently living out
at Kit's home in De Soto, KS. His friends at Midwest Paws Rescue have
been very helpful in getting me out of a bad situation in Salina, KS
(thanks Steve for the car ride across the state! wow was that a trip!!!)
Kit assures me that there are lots of people out there looking for great
pets - so I’m optimistic that I’ll find a new home even if your not
considering inviting me over to your home, maybe you know a family that
would like some canine company? Please pass this friendly email a long

Oso is a great guy. He knows how to sit on command and he’s very polite.
He has been raised with kids and is housebroken. He’s feeling better
because we are beginning to see the playful side of him. He likes other
dogs and cats and at this point doesn’t seem to have any bad habits. He
just wants affection which we are a little sparse on right now for fear
of passing his germs onto the others, but soon, he’ll be going for walks
and playing with the others in the big yard (12,000sq.ft.) dog yard. He
jumped right up into the car and rode quietly the whole way home (1/2
hr). He loves everyone and is very social. He’s not a barker unless for
good reason and he’s very affectionate. Oso is fostered in Granite Bay,
CA.

I am a super sweet, happy go lucky girl! I love to play, especially with
other dogs...big or small...I am quick to make new friends. (Even the
grumpy old fellow dog here seems to enjoy my vibrant personality.) I
really like the human baby that lives here, too. She always smiles and
giggles at me, and I don't even mind that she sometimes tugs on my ears
and tail. I don't think the parents have noticed that sometimes she
shares some of the treats off of her plate with me, but I try to observe
the house rules and I always wait until she holds food out to me rather
than clearing her plate for her. I love to please people and will do
about anything to hear praise from my family...sit, stay, come, kennel,
etc. Remy is fostered in Wichita Kansas.
