Emergency Funding Needed!
On February 25, 2009 over 200 dogs were seized from a
puppy mill in Ozark County Missouri. Not only were conditions horrible, but
the owner set fire to the property housing the dogs. The Missouri Department
of Agriculture has stepped in and asked our local rescue group, Midwest PAWs,
to help with the dogs in need. We are working with another local rescue
group, English Spring Rescue of America, to take in over 150 dogs. Each
group is taking 75 dogs starting the 27th and we will be providing all care
for the German Shorthaired Pointers. Our group, Midwest PAWs, is in a critical stage of being able to provide all of the essentials
these dogs require. All of them will required medical attention and those
that were burned will require a great deal more. We are desperately needing
donations for medical care and supplies. We are working endlessly to get
these dogs the attention and love they so deserve. Please make a donation
for their recovery! We will the continue to update the website with the dogs
and their stories!
